NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Raglan County Council, under the provisions of The Counties Act. 10U8. the Local Bodies Loans Act. 1013, and Amendments thereto, and all other Acts (if any) it in that behalf enabling, and with the consent of the Governor in Council under Section 26 of the Appropriation Act, 1015, as Gazetted on Page 27 of the New Zealand Gazette 1017, to borrow the sum of £6OO for the purpose of taking, forming and metalling a deviation on the Onewhero to Wairamarama Main Road including the payment of compensation and other expenses incidental to the taking of the land required for the said work, within and for the benefit of the Hamilton's Deviation Special Rating District of the County of Raglan, and as security for the payment oi interest, sinking fund and other charges on the said loan, to make and levy a Special Rate of One-eighteenth of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Hamilton's Deviation Special Rating District of the said County, and it is the intention to payout of the loan the first year's interest and linking fund. The loan is for a period of 3Gi years at the rate of interest of £4 10s per centum per annum, together with an additional charge to provide the necessary sinking fund. The Boundaries of the Special Rating District are as follows :—Commencing at the north-east corner of Section 33, of Block XII., Onewhero Survey District : thence running south along the eastern boundaries of Sections 33. 22.
