Some idea of the business done around the district in connection with local stock may be gathered from the fact that 300 sheep bought on Monday for 26s a head were sold the following day for 33s The existence of competition and the presence of more people in the township is conducive to more life and activity and must promote the business of the town and the prosperity of the district generally.
