PAPAKURA TOWN BOARD

Additions to By-Laws NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Papakura Town Board held on Friday, the 29th day of December, 1916, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Board to be held on Monday, the sth day of February, 1917, at 7.30 p.m., at the offices of the Board at Papakura. RESOLUTION. In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the "Town Boards Act, 1908," and Part XLII of the " Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," the Papakura Town Board in Special Meeting hereby approves and adopts the By-Laws as now signed by the Chairman and directs that a Meeting of the Board be held on Monday, the sth day of February, 1917, at the oitiees of the Board at Papakura for the purposes of confirming this Resolution. The object and purport of the Bylaws &w to regulate for the health of the district as follows and To provide for Penalties for the breach of any of the Bylaws, viz.; To regulate and control the burial of nightsoil; to give power to the Board to contract for the removal of nightsoil and to fix fees for such removal; to prohibit the carting of nightsoil without permission of the Board; to regulate and control the structure, building and uso of water-closets, privie- and sewage tanks; to prohibit the carting of offensive matter ; to regulate and control the uso of ashpits; to regttlate and control the keopiug of pigs, etc, etc. A full copy of the proposed Bylaws is deposited at the Office of the Board at Papakura, and is open for inspection of tho public during Office hours until the said oth day of February, 1917.
