GREAT SHOT.
The Kai-.fr and the Crown Prince have always l>een more or less at daggers drawn, and an amusing story if the Crown Prince's ''cheek" on one occasion is told. They wore nut shootine. with a p.uty. At tiie end of the day it wns announced that, as usual, the •Kaiser had "beaten all records." The doer he had •'shot'' were laidbofore him on the ground in a long line. The photographers began to get busy. "Sixty-lour head, your Majesty." announced tha head keeper dutifully in the meanwhile. The Kaiser made no comment or cotitrndktion, but suddenly the Crown Prince chimed 'n scornfully. "Sixtyfour head? That's rather funny, eonMetering you had only sixty cartridge-', isn't it. father r"' "Father" became black with fury. but the mischief had been done; a good many of the party had overheard the remark, as the Crown Pfrince haw .«*„t thc-v should.
