Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord; He is tramping out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored; He has loosed the faithful lightnings of His terrible, swift sword, His truth is marching on. I have seen Him in the iwatehfires of a hundreJ circling camps: They have buildcd Him an altar in the evening dews and damps. 1 can read His righteous sentence its their dim and flaring lamps, His day is marching on. I have rca<] a fiery aosp<?l, writ in burnished rows of steel: "As ye deal with My contemners, sc with you My grace will deal,' Let the hero, horn of woman, crush the c erpent with his heel, Since God is marching on. He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat: He is sifting out the hearts of men hefore the judgment scat. Oh ! lie swift, my soul, to answer Hiai: he jubilant my feet. - For God is marching on.
Ir the beauty of the lilies Christ tra« hern across the sea, With a trlory in His l>osom that transfigures you and me. ,\- He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free! Whilst God is marching ott.
