WE, the undersigned, wish to notify more esp?cially the farming community that the Produce Departments of our respective busines'es will be open to receive and despatch Produce on WEDNESDAY Afternoon next, December 20th. All our other Departments will be closed, as per the resolution carried on November 20th last at the local meeting of traders. Owing to the perishable nature of produce, it must be despatched not later than Wednesday next for the Southern business centres for the 'Xmas trade. We shall not be receiving Produce from Farmers on Friday and Saturday, December 22nd and 23rd or in the following we?k on Friday and Saturday, December 29th and 30th owing to the Xmas and New Year Holidays.
