TUAKAU.
ORANGE BLOSSOMS. TURNER-HYDE. The wedding took place at the Methodist Church, Dominion road, Auckland, on the 14th inst, of Mr Alfred Henry Turner, of Tuakau, and Miss Hilda Logan Hyde, daughter of Mr Fredk. Hyde, JJof Tuakau. The Rev. P. R. Paris officiated. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr D. W. Doull, wore a smart travelling costume of navy blue, with a pink and black Dolly Varden hat The bridesmaid, Miss Phoebe Crutchfield, was dressed in white voile, with white hat trimmed with pink rosebuds. The bride's bouquet was of white lilies and carnations, and Miss Crutchfield carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Mr Tom Mortimer acted as best man. Subsequent to the ceremony the newly-married couple left for Rotorua. . Mr F. W. Shortland, barrister and solicitor, has commenced business in Tuakau, opposite the Post Office, where he will practice his profession and may be consulted. Amongst a list of works he has compiled are " Police Court Practice and Procedure," " A Guide to the Bankruptcy Law of New Zealand," " The New Zealand Family Lawyer" and " Police Court Tale 3 of Maorilaud." ♦
