"THE LABYRINTH."
Premier Hall—Wednesday.
" It's a story of the unexplainable ways of women. Men should see it; women should study it - " "The Labyrinth" is a production quite up to the standard of the best in staging and dresses. The story concerns the ups and downs of an actress, and many of the scenes are taken of the stage and in the dressing rooms. There is plenty of dramatic action, and although the film is 5204 feet in length there is, as in other world films, remarkably little " padding." If anything they crowd too many incidents, and thereby complicate the plot somewhat. Gail Kane takes the leading part. She has had a remarkable career on the legitimate stage, and is easily one of the best screen actresses in the film world.
