"DAVID HARUM."
Premier Hall—Wednesday. The Lyceum management announce the screening of Edward Noyes Westcott's famous story " David Harum " for to-morrow (Wednesday) evening. The chief role is taken by William H. Crane, supported by the well-known stars, Harold Lockwood and May Allison. It is doubtful if any American work of drama or fiction has ever achieved such instantaneous success as did this book and play. Mr Crane's wonderful portrayal of the genial and quaint old hero of this masterpiece is one of the best examples of character work ever given on the stage, so that the unusual combination of star artists and play ensure a photo-drama of unusual merit.
