RAMA RAMA.
A meeting of the Ladies' Guild was held on October 18th to receive the balance sheet and report of Sale of Work held on October 4th. The secretary reported that there were a few minor accounts to come in, but that there would be a credit balance of about £B6 10s. After some discussion it was decided that £lO should be paid to the Belgian Fund and the balance to the St. John's Ambulance and Red Cross Society for sick and wounded. Votes of thanks were passed to Mr Ballard for the use of the barn for sewing meetings, to Misses Cole-Baker and Ballard for machines, to the afternoon tea committee and to the secretaries (Mesdames Sharp and Oldham). The Committee received an acknowledgment from the Auckland Ladies' Patriotic League of the £ll forwarded to them for Christmas billies for the " boys " at the front. The money was made up as follows: Mrs Wright 10s; Misses Buck worth, F. Oldham and Cole-Baker and Mesdames Stewart, Cole-Baker, Dufty and T. Harkness and Messrs H. Maxwell, A. Stewart, W. Baker, M. Markham, J. West, G. Grant, C. Smith, W. Rowley, J. McCabe, W. Sharp, W. J. D. Sharp, T. Harkness, J. Donahoe, V. C. Cooper, J. Knott, S. Chilton, W. Allen, B. Lockwood, E. Rainford, W. Pratt, G.
