WEDDING BELLS.

Saville—Weston. A wedding in which considerable interest was taken took place at St. Andrew's Church, Pukekohe, on Wednesday last, when Mr H. P. Saville, son of Mr John Saville, of Foxton, and Miss Jessie Weston, second daughter of Mr Geo. Weston, of Pukekohe, were united in the bonds of matrimony, the" Bev. J. P. Cowie officiating. Miss Alice Weston, sister of the bride, and Mr J. Weston, brother, acted as bridesmaid and bestman respectively. The bride wore a pretty frock of merv silk with silk embroidered overdress, with bridal veil, and carried a bouquet of white carnations, asparagus and maiden hair fern, while the bridesmaid was attired in a silk embroidered net dress and wore a pretty white lace hat to match, her bouquet being similar to that carried by her sister.

The bridegroom's present to the bride was a dressing case and a travelling rug, and to the bridesmaid a half-moon gold brooch set with diamonds and rubies.

Some 50 guests attended the wedding breakfast, held in the Carnival Tea Booms, which were very artistically decorated for the occasion. The toast of the bride and bridegroom was proposed by the Rev. Mr Cowie and responded to by the bridegroom. The toast of the bridesmaid was submitted by Mr C. K. Lawrie and was replied to by Mr J. Weston. The health of the " Host and Hostess " was proposed by Mr F. Perkins, Mr Weston, senr., responding. A feature of the breakfast was the handsome three-tier wedding cake made by Mr G' Arkle. junr., of Waiuku. The newly-married couple subsequently left for Palmerston North, the bride wearing a smart navy serge costume with rose pink hat trimmed with roses and ostrich feather. A dance was given by Mr and Mrs Weston in the evening in the Masonic Hall, some 65 couples taking the floor. Messrs W. Bhort and J. Weston acted as M.C s, and the music was supplied by Mrs Eeane, extras being played by Messrs C. Rickit and C. Weston. Vocal solos were rendered during the evening by Messrs J. Brown and L. Wilson.
