Mrs. John Jacob Astor, widow of Colonel John Jacob Astor, who lost his 1 ifo in the Titanic disaster four years ago, is engaged to be married to Mr. Will'am Dick, a well-known Brooklyn financier. It will be recalled that Mrs. Astor, when she married tho mult i-mil-ilonaire, was a poor and beautiful girl, and by espousing Mr. Dick, who was tho sweetheart of her girlhood days, she surrenders the income of £1,000,000 which Colonel Astor bequeathed to her, also tho occupation of lie beautiful As. tor mansion in New York, likewise much prestige in local society, which will now pass to Mrs. Vincent Astor, wife of her lat<> husband's son.
