IU'SSIAN GIHL'S TOUCHING LETTER ISSUED AS AN ARMY ORDER This is the letter of a little Russian girl to the soldiers. It has been incorporated in an army order to the troops by General DnvtriefF: — ''Dear Litt'e Soldiers, —T am a schoolgirl of Yitaka, full of love for you and devoted to my read country. I have bought, in the hope that thev will be read by very many, a few of these blessed ikon pictures, and I now send them to you, dear defenders r:f your country, in the hope that they mav arouse your religious feelings. " Pray, and don't forget the Givat Assistant of God, Jesus Christ. May God blses you !" General Dmitrieff adds: "These sample words, which spring from the heart of this dear young girL must find an echo in your hearts."
