An "in memoriam" service te fallen heroes is to be held in tha Pukekobe Presbyterian Church next Sunday evening, when the preacher will be tbe Rev. S. Nixon. The installation of what is designed to be an improved telephone ■ervice in Pukekobe is nearmg completion, and on Sunday next tbe concluding stage of transferring subscribers' lines to the new metallic circuit cable within tbe telephone exchange will be carried out When this is accomplished it is anticipated tbnt the induction difficulty, which baa the cause of conversations heing overheard, will no longer be in evidence.
