there was an average yarding of horses at the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co's horse fair held in their Papakura yards yesterday. Competition was keen for anything medium or heavy, but there was practically no sale for light hacks or light harness horses. Good medium draughts sold from £2l to £2B, heavy £25 to £33, aged farm sorts £l'J to £l9, light harness horses £8 to £ls, hacks £7 to £l4 10s, pomes £4 to £8 10s, and weeds 10s upwards.
