LOAN of £9OO, for the purpose of Taking, Forming and Metalling a Deviation on the Onewhero to Wairaraarama Main Road, including the payment of Compensation and Other Expenses incidental to the taking of the land required for the said work.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Raglan County Council, under the provisions of the Counties Act, 19< >B, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and Amendments thereto, and all other Acts (if any) it in that behalf enabling, and with the consent of the Governor-in-Council under Section'.'6 of the Appropriation Act, 1915, as Gazetted on Page 2819 of the Gazette, 1916, to borrow the sum of £9OO tor the purpose of taking, forming and metalling a deviation on the Onewhero to Wairamarama Main Goad, including the payment of Compensation and other expenses incidental to the taking of the land required for the said work, within and for the benefit of the Hamilton's Deviation Special Rating District of the County of Raglan, and as security for the payment of interest, sinking fund and other charges on the said Loan, to make and levy a Special Rate of One-twelfth of a Penny in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Hamilton's Deviation Special Rating District of the said County, and it is the intention to pay out of the loan the first year's interest and sinktng fund. The Loan is for a period of years, at the rate of interest of £4 10s per centum per annum, together with an additional charge to provide the necessary sinking fund.
