FIGHTING U.S. BOY OF SIXTEEN.
RECLAIMED AFER 11 MONTHS' SERVICE. Harold Phillips, of Everett, a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. ' recently sailed from Liverpool after eleven 'months of active service on the British front. He was only sixteen years old when lie enlisted in the Royal Field Artillery early last summer. Since then he has been in much of the tierce lighting round Ypres. Phillips., who -s over Oft. 10'n. in height, has been "reclaimed'' bv his parents as a minor. When lie landed at Glasgow in May 1915, from the steam.-r Borderdale from Chile h 0 derided to enlist with n shipmate. His parents thought that lie was still a sailor, but one day they j;ot news from him in Flanders.
