STOCK SALE REPORTS.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report as follows ; At Pukekohe on Monday we held a special dairy sale. The demand was not so keen as late sales and consequently prices were lower. Best dairy cows, £9 10s to £l4 5s ; others, £5 15s to £8 10s; best heifers, £lO to £l4 ; others, £5 to £9 ; bulls, 7gns to 14gns. At Pukekohe on Tuesday we had an average yarding for a winter sale and prices were on a par with late rates. No three and four-year-old steers were yarded. Two to two and a-half-year-old steers, £6 15stojB8 12s 6d ; yearlings to 18months, £4 10s to £6 13s , yearling heifers, £3 2s 6d to £4 17s 6d ; two-year heifers, £5 to £6 7s 6d ; empty cows and heifers, £6 to £8 12s fid. The advertised line of half-bred Polled Angus cows and heifers, in low condition, sold at from £8 os to £9 ; bulls, 6gns to 14gns. A. quantity of beef sold at fully Westfield rates, steers selling to £ls, cows to £l2 10s. The advertised ewes in lamb sold at from £1 12s to £1 17s.
