MERCER TOWN BOARD.

BATE NOTICE. NOTICE is hereby given that Pursuant to the provisions of the " Town Board's Act, 1908," and all other Acts and powers thereto enabling it. the Mercer Town Board will at its meeting to be held on the 12th day of September, 11)16, at the office of the Board, at Mercer, strike and levy a General Bate of Threehalfpence in the pound upon the capital value of all the rateable properties within the boundaries of the Mercer Town District for the period commencing the Ist day of April, 1916, and ending the olst day of March, 11)17, such rates to be due and payable to the collector in one instalment, at the office of the Board, Mercer, on and after the 31st day of October, 1916. The Valuation roll may be seen at the Board's Office during office hours. And further, the Hospital and Charitable Aid Bate of One Sixth of One Penny in the Pound, over the Mercer Town District that is payable by the Ratepayers to the Franklin County Council will be collected on its behalf at the same time and place by the Mercer Town Board acting for and under authority from the said Council. The estimated expenditure of the Board lor the ensuing 12 months on roads in the Mercer Town Board's District upkeep and maintenance and on lighting is £l5O. T.
