THE FAMOUS DANDIES.
At Pukekohe, August 18th. 'The Dandies" are a eraart body oi entertainers widely known throughout the Dominion. They have been appearing for several seasons with great success, and the announcement that tbey have now included l'ukekohe in their itinerary will douotlesa be received witb much interest. "The Dandies'' have a number of excellent records to their credit. Each season tbey appear in Auckland and Wellington for a lergthy period, which eomejj times extends to six weeks in cither city. There are several excellent vocalists in the company, and a quartet of comedians ard comediennes who excel not only in individual items but also io con* certed number?. Their performances are characterised by brightness and vivacty and there is nu suggestion of vulgarity in anything tbey present Mr Edward Branscombe, the originator ol the form of entertainment presented by "The Dandies," has sent many sterling attractions to New Zealand during recent seasons, amongst them being 'The Scarlet Troubadours," "Westminster Glee Singers'] and "Sousa's Band." Two members of the famotsVTSearlet Trouba« dour?," Miss Lil> Fitzgerald and' Mr Kurd Waltham, qre included in the visiting Company. "The Dandies" are io appear in the Premier Hall on Friday evening, 18th inst. The performance is scheduled to start at 8.30 owing ti Friday being the "late" night. Popular prices will be charged, and ftcats may bo reserved at the Bookery.
