SUCCESSFUL CLEARING SALE. By instructions from Mr W. A. l'heyers, who has disposed of his farm. Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons held a clearing sal2 yesterday on the farm of tbe whole of the live and dead stock. There was a very large attendance of buyers everything offered being sold, the total proceeds amounting to £625. The milking herd of 20 cows averaged £l2 5s 9d, while tbree farm horses sold froir £ls to £l9; one pedigree Yorkshire boar, two and a-balf guineas; one pedigree Berkshire sow, four guineas, nine pedirgee Berkshire weaners, at prices averaging 17s 6d each, while tour slips averaged £1 6s; and six suckers 17s 6d; one sow, in pig to pedigree Yorkshire boar, £8; one sow and nine yojng pigs, £6 15s another sow with nine, £8 ss, a boar, two and a-half guineas; and one sow with six pigs, £ll 15s. A spring dray made £l4 10s; an 11Coulter drill, £25; gig and harness, £l7 sa; and a single furrow plough, £l. The furniture sold well, a sideboard fetching £l3 10j.
