Poll Fop £12,000 Adopted.
Final sters were taken at meetings of tbe Pukekote Borough Council be Id "in c numittee" on Friday evening last and last night in regard to loan tciiemea to be submitted to the ratepayers. It was eventually unanimously resjlved to ask tbe ratepayers for power to bonow £12,000, tbe game to be submitted in one issue and allocated as fellows: £4OOO for water £2SUO for roads, £SOOO for electric light, and £SOO for first year's interest and sinking fund and con tingencie*. The Town Clerk was authorised to make arrangements for the poll, which has been fixed for Wednesday, August 23rd.
