The erection of a party tcJephore line between Ortre and Clevcdon his now bean commenced, the uuinber ot subscribers being ten, th!s being' the limit lixed by the Clevedon Private Telephone Association tor any one line. It is expected that the line will be in operation in a tew weeks, and it will, to Home extent, irake up lor the inconvenience of the poor roads down Urere way. A luxurious crop ot gorec is to be seen along the sides of the Nees Valley road, about one mile dot of Clevedon. To those interested in this valuab'e addition to the kcal scenery it is well worth Beeing. As o'.*r American friends would gay, us "some" goise, and its going to "whin."
