WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC LEAGUE.

A meeting of ihe Executive Committee of the Pukekohe branch of the Worn n'aFatriotic League was held on June 14tb. Fn? ; nt: Misa Webster, in the chair, Meedames McKae, Bixtsr, Motion, Webb, O'Connor acd Hogan, Misses Graham, Usher and O'Connor, secretary.

Letters of acknowledgement and tbanka were read from the Auckland Patriotic League lot the following sums: £24 -la 6] towards Koesian Fund, £2 monthly donation for socks, £36 15s to the Dominion gift scheme for month, also for parcel of knitted comforts received. It was decided that letters of thanks be sent to the following for donations in cash to the general Kind:- Miss Chalmers, opening Puni School, £2 2s; Mrs Henderson, from the Carlton Children's Happy Hour. 17s 6d; "A Friend,'' ss; Mrs Deane, 4s; "A Friend," 2s. Mrs Baxter, convenor of the Kitting Committee, reported having held a meeting at which it was decided that a knitting instruction class he held every Tuesday at L'.iiO p.m. in the Borough Council Chambers.
