DRURY

By a unanimous decision come to at a meeting held in the Public Hall on Wednesday evening of last week, a petition asking that the present station at Drury be retained is to be fowarded to the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey) after the necessary signatures have been attached thereto. There was an attendance of about 40 settlers at the meeting, and Mr T. Brooks was was elected to the chair. The Karaka district was represented by Messrs J. Batty (chairman of the Karaka Road Board J, Sharp and Baker. •
