SUCCESSFUL CLEAKING SALE. The clearing sale held on Mr J. Loughlin's tarm, "Nikau," Waercnga, on Wednesday last by the Farmers' Auctioneering Company, Limited, atrtacted what was undoubtedly the largest attendance seen at any sale in the district, and everything submitted, except a motor car, was disposed of. Purebred Komney ewes fetched 58b, Romney ram lambs JK'i 3s, fiomney ewe hoggets 52s 6d, 2-tcoth flock ewes 36a, 5 and 6-year-old tlock ewes 34s (id, a line of one hundred mixed sex calves £4 7s 6ri, spring heiters £6 4s, draught horses up to £29 10s, light horses up to £l4, and sheep dogs £ll 10s. Although he has sold his "Nikau" farm it is satisfactory to know that Mr Lnughlin docs not intend to leave the district.
