Notice is hereby giventhatin pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on it by the provisions of the Rating Act, 1908, Section 117 of " The Counties Act. 1908," Section 41 of the " Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909," and all amendments thereto respectively, it is the intention of the Franklin County Council at its next Ordinary Monthly Meeting tqfbe held ill the Council Chambers, Hall street, Pukekohe, on THURSDAY, the (ith day of July, 1910, at 9.30 a m., to make and levy the following rates for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1916, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1917 :
General Rates of One Penny Farthing (I \i&) in the £ on the Capital Value of all rateable property in the Drury Riding, Hunua Riding, Mauku Riding, Pukekohe Riding (excluding Tuakau Town District) and Waiuku Riding respectively. General Rates of Three Farthings in the £ on the Capital Value of all rateable property in the Awhitu Riding, Mercer Hiding (excluding Mercer Town District) and Waipipi Riding respectively. A Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of One Sixth of a Penny (l-('>th d) in the £ on the Capital Value of all rateable property in the County of Franklin. The said rates to be due and payable in one instalment to the Collector, Alan Percival Day, at the office of the Council, Hall street, Pukekohe, on the 31st day of July, 191 »i. The Valuation Rolls are open for inspection at the office of the Council during office hourß.
