A letter was received asking that certain property owners should be given notice to clear a small water-course of nil obstructions, and also requiricg alterations to a culvert under the Great Suutn road. It the adjacent property owners retjuue the culvert lowered lor land drainage purposts there rhould be no objection to it being done, provided fiey bear the exDtuse. ,
If all available fall were taken up from the railway culvert tfce drainage requirements would be met.
