WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC LEAGUE.

Pukekohe Branch. At a meeting of the committee, held on the Bth jnst., there were present— Mesdames Webb, McKae, Baxter, Hogan, Misses Graham and Webster. Letters of tbankß were received from the secretary of the Auckland League for parcel of knitted comforts, monthly supply of hussila and donation to sock fund.

A further supply of wool was authorised and accounts amounting to £S 18 6d were pasted for payment. A meeting of members of the League was then held. The rules drawn up by a sub-committee were adopted, and the following subcommittees were formed.—Knitting, sewing, literature, entertainment and organising. Mrs A. B. Barter was elected a member of the League. It was reported that gift cards for 286 parcels and one made up parcel had been forwarded to Auckland tor the month of May. Donations were reported as follows

Mrs Perkins, 2 pairs sox; Mrs Glover, 2 pans box; Mrs Legge one balaclava cap and one cholera belt. Workers of balaclavas.—Mrs W. Blake, 10; Mrs (Jrum, 6; Mrs Maxwell, Mies I. Browti, Mrs Webb, Mrs Hooey, Mrs W. Goldsworthv, Mies M. lozer, Mrs J. WilEon, b'rankton, Mrs A. Bell, Mauku, Mrs Luidesay, Miss M. Mcor, 2 each; l'helma Long, Mrs Long. Miss Wilson, Whangarei, Mrs Kimbcr, Mrs Holloway, Miss Hughes, Mrs Hughes, Mies Townson, Mrs Perkins, Mies Taylor, 1 each.

Socks. —Mrs £{. W. S. Moore, 3 pairs; Miss Barter, Mrs Barter, 2 pairs each; Lily Smith, Miss Shipheid, Mrs Baxter, Miss E. Frost, Mrs J. B. Brown, Mrs Lcguc, Mrs Perkins, Mrs E. Stevenson, 1 pair each.

Scarves—Mrs McGovern, Miss Wilson, Whangarei, Mrs Maxwell, 2 each; Miss Barber, Miss Twidlc, Miss Goldsworthy, Mrs W. T. Jones, Mrs Wilson, Frankton, Mavis Feck, Miss Madiii, Misa A. Rogers, Mrs Townson, Raymond Crosbic, Miss N. Stuart, Miss 15. Stuart, one each.

Wristlets—Mrs Uowpcrthwaitc, 8 pairs, Mrs Jraham, senr., 4 pairs; Misa Townson, o pairs; Mrs Wilson, Mt. Eden, Mrs Armstrong, Mrs Perkins, 2 pairß each; Mrs Webster, one pair.
