At the last meeting of the Ladies Patriotic Guild there was a good attendance of member?. Afternoon tea was provided by the Misses Cossey. The secretary reported that last month 16 Dominion gifts were forwarded to the front. These were contributed by the Ladies' Guild, afternoon tea money being devoted to this end, also contributions from the school children, several of the ladies contributing gifts aho. They hope to eend fttteen gilts away this month, and tbey are also making twenty-five hnssifs every month. Fitfy-four pairs of box were forwarded as under: Mrs Hamilton, 12 pairs; Mrs McAdams, 8 pairs; Mrs W. Brooks, 3 pairs; Mrs McMurtrie 3, pairs; Mrs Barclay, Mrs Strong, Mrs Glasson, Mrs Wall, Mrs John Blake, 2 pairs each; Misi G. Cossey, 4 pairs; Miss N. Girwcood, 3 pairs; Misses Appleby and Barnes, 2 pairs each; Mrs Bremner, Smallfield, Hewlett, Appleby, Fjl'e, 1 pair each; Misses Smallheld and Bernard, 1 pair each; Mrs McNaughton, one pair surgical sox and 7 face cloths; Mies Glasson, 5 face cloths; Mrs Sutherland, one cholera belt; Mrs John Dicßson, 2 knee caps.
