He went to a tree To have a little snipe, When a shell blew off his head, head, head. Simple Simon met a pieman Going to the fair. Said Simple Simon to the pieman, " Let me taste your ware." The pieman said to Simple Simon, "Sakes alive! Not I;, If I did biz like that, young man, I'd be the blooming ' pie.' " X- x- -XOld Mother Hubbard Went to the cupboard To see if she'd got any gin. But when she got there The cupboard was qaru, She murmured, "My luck isn't in." •V- vv -XLittle Boy Blue, Come, pull up your socks, The German fleet's leaving Its harbours and docks. Where is von Tirpitz, The lord of the wave '! He's gone to the barber To get a nico shave.
