BOY SCOUTS' CONCERT.
A very successful concert was held in the Premier Hall on Tuesday evening last, in the pr.sence ot a large assembly, in aid of Ihe funds of the Pukekohe Boy Scouts In the lirst portion if the programme songs were contributed by Miss I Aldndue, Assistant Scoutmaster Luke Wils.m, Scout •lames Rogers, Messrs J Brown and W T Jones, Miss .lean McArthur cleverly gave a recitation and Scouts N Costello and C Maxwtll were loudly applauded for iheir humorous sketch. A monologue by Mr D Hird, a pianoforte solo by Miss M Taylor, and a sketch bv Miss McKay and Mr L) Hird were also well rendered A Pierrot entertainment constituted the second half of the proceedings, the performers all being gttired in Pierrot costunio, and it went with a swing, each and every item being thoroughly appreciated, The troupe was composed of the Misses Aldridge, Ivy Duncan, Nellie Petkins, Millicrnt Taylr, McKay and Ivy Bro*n, and Messrs Luke Wilson. J Brown, Fred Duncan, and U E Hird. An appeal song by Miss Ivy Duncan added the s.im of lis to the evening'* taking!
