FARMERS' UNION TRADING ASSOCIATION.
A Successful Year.
The report and balance-sheet of the Farmers' Union Trading Association shows that the institution has had a successful year, and increased its turnover by a large amount. The membership now stands ai 2303, an increase of nearly 300 over 1915. The net profit for the year, after making provision for bad debts and depreciation, is £9-lN 10s 7d.
To make room for their increasing business the Directors have purchased ezlensive new premises in Fort street, which they will take possession of in August next. The following table will show the steady growth of the Association since it was founded :
