An old bachelor, whose name was Dickson, aad who was very bald, fell in love with a pretty widow whoso late husband's name was Pobin. One oven. ing bachelor Dickson dropped in to have a cup of tea with the widow. After tea was over, ho asked hof to sing, and she eommeneed " Adair." The bachelor picked ivioih'.s hat and said : "^«L "Madam, even if your husband aWJ have hair, it's no fault of mine that I haven't!" Then ho fled.
