NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council, held on the 19th day of April, 1916, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on WEDNESDAY. the 17th day of May, 1916, at 7.30 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Edinburgh Street : RESOLUTION. In e\ercise of the (lowers conferred on it by Pari XLII. of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby niatas., by way of Special Order, By-iaw under "The Municipal Corporations Act, 190.5," to auiiiid the By-la w of the said Council passed on the 9th day or September, 1914, and intituled ''The Cemetery By-Laws." The object and purport of the proposed Bylaw are to amend clause 3 of the sejO Cemetery By-law, 1914, relating to charges for right to enclose graves and ereet mounments, ete., and to add the following, viz.: Interpretation of " Enclosure," (1) Prohibiting the erection of monuments, enclosure of ground or other work without a permit : (2) Concrete and other material to be mixed only in specified place; (3) Rubbish, ~ud other material to be completion of w,jk, (i) Trustees to have pow.y to remit lees. A futt copy of this By-law is now deposited at the Borough Office and is open to the inspection of the public during Office hours until the said 17th day of May, 1916.
