PUKEKOHE EAST. Anzac Day was celebrated iu tho above school on Thursday of last week, all the scholars boiug present. Mr Watkin Kobidson addressed tho children, explaining the meaning of Anzac Day and speaking in glowing terms of the work done by New Zealandors and British aliko at the great landing. The speaker recommended tho children as a litting tribute to join tho Lady Livorpool League and to send a monthly parcel to the front. This they willingly agreed to do. Mr Mark Ballard also addressed the children, who wore then dismissed for their Easter holidays.
