ONEWHERO.

A small though representative meeting of the settlers assembled at the school on Monday last for the annual School Committee ejection. The chairman's report, and tliat qf the schoolmaster, si; >wed the excellent condition of the school. The following were nominated as the Committee, viz : —Messrs J. Cathcart, E. Andrews, senr., C. Walter, E. Parsons, R. Glasgow, W. Keyes and li. Irgan. The two last-named withdrew in order to avoid a contest, and so left the other five as members for the year. At a meeting of the Committee Mr E. Glasgow was appointed chairman and secretary. Arrangements were then made fjr the Anzac celebrations.
