The N.Z. Loan Coy. report as follows : On Tuesday, at Papakura, we had a very large yarding of all classes of stock, and we report a most successful sale, practically everything charging hands. Best dairy cows and heifers, £8 10s to £l3 ss, others £4 15s to £7 17s 6d ; bulls, £4 10s to £l2, according to quality ; two to three year steers, £6 los to £9 his; yearling to eighteen months steers, £4 10s to £G ; good steer calves, £2 1 Is to £3 15s ; inferior, £1 5s to £2 4s; heifer calves, £1 4s to £2 los, according to quality; heifers, suitable for dairy purposes, £3 1 -5s to £5 15s; empty cows and heifers, £4 5s to £7 10s. A large quantity of beef, at fully West field prices, fat cows selling to £l3 12s Gd, fat steers to £l7 10s.

On Wednesday at our Westiield fat stock market, beef was pennod in average numbers, and mostly of good quality. Bidding was brisk and fully last week's rates ruled, prime quality oxen selling to £2 Is ptr 1001b, others £1 18s Gd to £2 2s; cows and heifers, £1 15a to £2 Is per £ 1001b. Steers sold at from £lO 10s to £lO 10s; cows, £5 15s to £l2 15s. Sheep were penned in average numbers, and were tirm at last week's rates. Best wethers sold at from 11 7s od to Xl 0s Ud ; others £1 3s to £1 Gs Od; ewes, extra heavy £1 Is to £1 7s 3d. others £1 Is to £ I Is ; hoggets, £1 is Ud to £1 Is Lambs in short supply, sold well, best making up to £1 7s, others 17sGdto £1 5s Gd. Calves were penned in average numbers and sold at improved prices. Eunners, £0 to £7 15s ; heavy suckers, £3 7s to £4 7s ; medium suckers, £2 10s to £3 5s ; light suckers, XI 0s to £2 7s : small and fresh dropped, 3s upwards to Xl ss. Pigs wi re penned in small numbers and again sold at slightly improved prices. Choppers, £3 17s to £4 10s , heavy baconers, £ I 3s to £ I lGs ; medium baconers, £3 15s to £4 Is ; light baconors, L 3 5s to £3 14s ; heavy porkers, £2 lbs to £3 8s; medium porkers, X2 8s to £2 17s ; light porkers, £1 10s to £2 Us ; light and unfinished, £1 10s to £1 17s ; slips, XI 2s toXl 'Js ; weaners, I Os to 17s.
