LADY LIVERPOOL LEAGUE.

At a meeting of tlio Pukekoho Branch of the Lady Liverpool League held on Wednesday, loth March, there were present : Mesdamesßaxter, Ilogau, O'Connor, Mcßae, Motion, Townson, Misses Graham, Usher and Webster.

Letters of thanks were read from the Secretary of the Auckland League for parcel of knitted com forts and donation to tho SockFund and also for tho monthly supply of lnissifs. A further supply of wool was authorised and tho ladies were kept busy for the afternoon tilling the next batch of hussifs

Donations to the Fund are as follows : Mrs A. E. Wilkinson, Miss Honoyford, 5s each ; Mrs aul Miss Townson, b pairs wristlets ; Miss Usher, 2 pairs cloth ylippers for hospital use : Miss Goldsworthy, 2 scarves.

Steyent-on, Miss Webster 1 pair oach. Balaclavas ; Mrs R. Browulee, Mrs Hughes. Mis Crum, Mrs Kirnber, Mrs W. Blake, Mrs Goldsworthy, 2 each : Miss Galloway, Mrs Horton, Mrs Lily Smith, Bertha Smith, 1 each. Slippers : Miss Routly 1 pair. Pattern* and instructions for making slippers for uso ol invalided or convalescent soldiers may be had on application to any member of the League. Material suitable for these are old felt hats or thick tweed or cloth. Discarded taMecovers and heavy curtains can bo made into soft hassocks for hospital use, instructions for making which will also bo supplied.
