The Pukekohe District I'atrioljc Committee wish to e.\prcß» thanks to tli3 Franklin A and 1' Society for permission to take up the collection at the recent show, to the members of the Lady Liverpool Committee for thdir kind assistance in making the collection, viz , Mrs J K McKae and the Misses Webster, Townson, (iraham, Usher and O'Connor, and to all who assisted in connection with "French Day" in l'ukekolie The Committee also brg to ac knowledge receipt of £3 liom Mr F VY Mountjoy, the same being proceeds of Bale of saddle was presented to Trooper by public subscription, and was eventually rejected by the Pelenci Drpartmcnt and returned to Mr Mounijoy,. who, failj g tq obtain a local purchaser, forwarded the saddle to the Loan and Mer*
