LYCEUM PICTURES.
To-Night. At the Premier Hall to-night the Lyceum management will again screen " The Escape." This picture attracted a good attendance on Wednesday evening and the general comment was that " Hie Escape " was a powerful, unusual and sensational drama with a great tendency for good.
For to-morrow night a big gripping vitagraph special will head the hill. " The Silent Plea,'' a story of sensational fucta, a ploa for widowed mothers, what provision is made for children ? The appeal of a young widow is the cause of a law being framed for a pension in such cases. In addition we have a return from Charles Chaplin " When Charlie was a Child," tho latest " Australian Gazette," " A Lily in Bohemia," " Soul of the Vase," and " Ham at th.9 Beach,"
Tho revised picture of " Uncle Tom's Cabin " will be shown on Wednesday and Friday next week.
