HARVEST FESTIVAL SERVICES.

» Yesterday the I'ukekoha Methodist Church cekbratcd its Harvest Festival. In the morning Mr f Souster, of Buckland, was the pr<"icher. The church was artistically decorated with fruit, Mowers and corn, in addition to well-known harvest hymns the choir rendered two anthems."Sowiug and tteaping" and "He that Soweth Shall Keip." In the evening the Kev (J Frost was the preacher, whose subject was; "The Harvest a Witness to Cod," from Acts xixch., 17v., "As the tountiiul Giver He did not leave Himself without a witness, giving you rain from Heaven and fruitful season?, giving you food and joy to your hejrt s content." The anthems at the evenirg service were: "The Reapers," and "Give Thanks all ye People." The anthems were well rendered by the large choir. The congregation filled the Church. The otl'ertories for Cue day exceeded £l7, which were devoted to the circuit fund.
