PUKEKOHE BOWLING CLUB
The all day tournament played on the local green last Saturday proved most enjoyable and after several keenly contested games resulted in two Pukekohe teams heading the A. and B. Sections. Tho sectional results were follows, vi/. A Section: Clarke, l'ukekohe, '■> wins; Smith, Pukekohe, I wins: Stephens, Victoria, 1 win: Lusher, Pukekohe, 2 wins; Hadlield, Papatoetoe, 2 wins ; Baildon, Grey lynn, ;5 wins.
B Section: Keith, Pukekohe, 2 wins; Barter, Pukekohe, 0 wins: Irvine, Papatoetoe, 1 win ; Armstrong, Pukekohe, 5 wins; Quin, Ponsonby, 3 wins; Wright, Pukekohe, 4 wins. The winniug team in Section A consisted of McLean, Webster, Penny, am 1 Smith (akin\ and in Section B, Laurie, J. Koulston, D. Eoulston, and Armstrong skip . in the jilayolT Smith was four down on the 20th head and a- ; he i'aiied in scove on thi' 21st head Armstrong's t'-am | proved victorious. Smith's plnyrd a most consistent game all through the div aud aro deserving of great credit for the way ihey fought until tho last bowl had been ; played.
