The Sooilers. Bex Beach's famous story "llie Spoilers" will be screened at the Premier Hall for two nights, Wednesday and Friday, of this week. It is considered the greatest melodrama of all time, vibrating, as it does, with human motion, passion, life and power. It reproduces living, breathing men and women of blood and heart; it upholds virtue and honour and denounces chicanery and vice. It lifts the veil from bidden evils. A red-blooded story of Alaska's goldfields to which men have come like a locTTst cloud, thousands strong, settling on the edge of the smoky sea, awaiting the going of the ice that barred them from their Golden Fleece —from Nome the New, where fortunes were found in a night. All Bex Beach's wonderful characters, Cherry Mallotte, Helen Chester, Boy Glenister, McNamarra, Dextry, Stillman, Slap Jack, Broncho Kid and the rest are made to stand out clear as images beaten from steel.
