Beef at Wcstheld prices At the Wfstheld fat stock market on Wednesday beef was yarded in numbers, and prices showed no improvement. Runners sold at from £4 17s to £9; heavy suckers £3 4s to £3 16s; medium £2 5s to £3, light £1 3s to £2 3s; small and fresh dropped, 3s to £l. Sheep were yarded in large numbers, and told at late rates. Best wethers £1 5s to £1 7s 9d, others £1 3s to £1 4s 6d, interiorly fatted 19s 3d to £1 Is 6d; ewes, extra heavy £1 3s to to £1 4s 9J, others 18a (id to £1 lis; hoggets £1 is to £1 3s 3d.
