WEDDING BELLS.
BaiPd-Berriman. • Considerable local interest was centered in the wedding that was celebrated at St Andrew's Church, Pukekohe, on Wednesday last, of Mr Walter Baird, am of the late Mr W Baird, of Dunedin, to Miss Olive D Berriman, daughter of Mr and Mrs Andrew Berriman, of Pukekohe. The Rev J P Cowie officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly attired in a frock of white lace voile, with silk embroidered overdress. Sh3 wore the usual veil with orange blorsoms and carried a dainty shower bouquet of cream rcsjs and maidenhair tern Miss Myrtle Berriman, who attended her sister as bridesmaid, wore a tanisome dress of white silk, shadowed with lace and finished with J a pink dechene hat, her shower bouquet of pink hue being in keeping with her costume Mr A B Berriman, brother of tbe bride, acted aa best man, and as tbe bridal party left the church tne Wedding March was played on the organ by Miss Ivy Brown A reception was subsequently held at the residence of tbe bride's parents, where a sumptuous wedding breaktast was partaken of, an interesting feature of the gathering being tbe presence there at of four generations of the bride's family Mr and Mrs Baird subsequently left by train for ihs south, where the honeymoon is being spent The presents were numerous and valuable and included several cheqies
