Owing to the respective families being so widely known and highlyesteemed much more than ordinary interest was centered in t|ie wedding solemnised at the Methodist Church, Waiuku, nn Wednesday of last week, when the contracting parties wore the Kev Ashton E J Fitchett, of Kaeo, Whangaroa, son of (ha lite Mr A Fitchett, formerly I'ostmaater at Waiuku, and of Mrs Fitchett, of Waiuku. and Misa Gertrude E Barriball, daughter of Mr and Mrs C T Barnball, ol Brooklyn, Waiuku, The Kev J Clover officiated and 1 the bride was given away by her father. 11)3 serivee was fully choral, the Wedding March being played by Mrs McEwen as the bridal party Lit the Church. IhS bride was charmingly attired in whi'e crepe de client over silk, trimmed with guipure Luc, and she wore the orthodox veil ;md orange blossoms. Miss Barriball uUcnded her isler as bndesiuaict. and wore pale pink crepe dc soic over pale pink silk, The dress was very simpjy trimmed with line Ucc and black forget-uic nnts. Her hai was of white bill* trimmed with pink and black forget me note. lhc duties of best man were performed by Mr Fred Fitchett. brother of the bridegroom The wedding breakfast was held in lf>3 Parish Ha : l at Wa>uku. where a large number ol guests I weie entertained.
