Tenders are invited, by advt. in this issue, for the erection of a new school building at Puni. Messrs J. T. Stembridge and Co. have been instructed to submit for sale at their Pukekohe Auction Mart on Friday of next week the property of one rood situated at Tuakau, being Lot 361, Tuakau North. For particulars see advt. Ratepayers are reminded that the poll on the various loan proposals of the Pukekohe Borough Council takes place to-morrow. A report of the meoting of ratepayers held on Monday, at which the schemes were explained on behalf of the Council, appears on page 1 of tbis issue.
In error it was announced in our last issue that the Te Arolia Bacon Coy. would be buying pigs at Buckland station on Monday next. This should have read I'ukekohe station where, acting for the Te Arolia Bacon Coy, Me.jsrs F Perkins and Co. will buy n'\t Monday.
