A CHEERFUL GIVER.

Mr. Llovd George's two daughters, the Misses 01 wen and Megan, have greatly added to their popularity lately. The former returned home recently from Red Cross work at the Front, and the latter has been actively engaged in charitable work connocied with the war. Of Miss Megan Lloyd George many amusing anecdotes are told. One of the best is the following. When she was quite a little girl her father baid to her one Sunday as she was going to chapel: "Here are a shilling and a penny. You may put whichever you please into the collection plate." After the service, when Miss Megan returned, Mr. Lloyd George asked her "Which coin did you give?" "Well," replied tiie little girl naively, "the minister said that Heaven loves a cheerful giver, and I knew I could give a penny much more cheerfully than I could a shilling, so I put the nenny in!"
