Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sana report as follows: Owing to the holidays we held our usual monthly sale at Pukekobe on Tuesday, December 28tb. There was a moderate yarding of stock, and a good demand for all classes, j Springers brought rrom £7 to Jill; empty cows., £4 to £7 6s; three to four year steers, £9 10* to £lO 18s, two to three year steers £6 ♦• 10s to £9; yearling to 18 months steers, £4 to £5 10s; heifers, same age, £3 5s to £5; good calves, £2 j 8s to £3; smaller, £1 15s to £2 ] 3s, small 5s to £1 10s; fat cow* and heifers, £7 15a to £l4, wftich I was equal to Westfield rates. • We held our weekly Westfield (■ fat stock market on Wednesday, December 29tb„ and, on account ot the holidays, bad considerably less I stock than usunl, 204 I sold. There was only a fair demand, with values unchanged, i Choice ox sold to £2 4s, prime £2 I Is to £2 3s, ordinary £1 17a to £2 per 1001b; cow and heiler, fl'los to £2 Is.
